At least 13 persons have been confirmed dead, while over 200,000 people have been left without power as Storm Gloria hits Spain
It was learnt that since Monday, the tragic incident has caused the submerging coastal cities to be flooded, while 40-foot waves and sea has been transformed into foam as tidal surge sweeps two miles inland
The Spanish town of Tossa de Mar was engulfed in thick marine foam, created as rough seas churn disintegrating organic matter such as algae.
Sea foam is usually harmless , but depending on the algae present, as bubbles within the foam pop they can release certain airborne toxins which can irritate eyes and lungs.
